Welcome to The Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) of South West Florida.

We represent the Real Estate Professionals of Colliers, Lee and Charlotte Counties. Through our contacts with BOMA Florida and BOMA International and along with our working alliances with other organizations, we have the ability to monitor legislation that may impact the Real Estate Industry and Educate our members with informative seminars and presentations and to share knowledge with each other.

MESSEGE FROM THE PRESIDENT:

Here we are just starting our second year on the Left Coast. BOMA is growing. In 2007 we added two more local federations (we are one of them) and two international ones, BOMA Moscow and BOMA Mexico.

In Florida we have been fighting Home Town Democracy and working to get the Real Estate Taxes and Insurance reduced. We are now faced with water restrictions and The Governors’ proclamation on the state going Green. Conservation and Recycling will be key issues in 2008. We welcome the new chapter of NAIOP that just formed South West Florida and look forward to working with them.
